Vikky's session earlier in the summer was another one of those recordings where we were bowled over at the originality of a singer's voice. Not only did Vikky pick some wide ranging bands and artists to cover but she handled each song with a unique style of her own rather than simply 'doing a cover'. Vikky's voice has definite rock influences - all the more obvious when she revealed to us that she also plays drums - a talented young lady indeed. So, although we had titles from Bryan Adams, the Temptations, and Phil Collins to choose from, we have selected her superb version of the One Republic track 'Stop and Stare' which shows off her rich and rocky tones wonderfully!
