The Storeys are a band with great songs, powerful vocals, and inspired lyrics. Two guys from the band - singer Ian and guitarist John approached us to produce their material and initially just wanted demos of four or five songs. Two years later we had recorded over twenty spread across two albums! With the sole instrument being acoustic guitar, we were asked to add the full production and arrangements. So song-by-song we worked with simple, earthy sounds and instruments and built up an identity and soul that now runs through all their material. Comments from the band after working at Middle C Productions: ".......We were keen to find someone who could produce our songs. In Nigel we found not only the man with the talent, know-how, and expertise, but also a guy who was clearly empathetic with what we were trying to achieve. We were delighted with the results achieved with the first few songs we recorded in Middle C Productions and have been inspired to write and record many new songs – we are now on our 2nd album!.........."
