Simones' Recording Experience was originally bought for her as a special birthday present from an old friend and the two girls had hoped to come to Middle C and do several songs, one being a duet. However, with busy schedules for all concerned, Simone made the visit as a solo artist and recorded two great songs with us. Simone was a touch nervous to start with - and in fact banned her husband Mark from the studio whilst recording! But as soon as she heard the playbacks it was smiles all round and she rose to the challenge in style! We have picked this rarely-covered ballad from Extreme because we felt that although it represented the biggest challenge of the day, Simone pulled it off superbly.
