Shannon, although just 12 years of age, has crammed an amazing amount into her life already. She is a professional actress and already has a CV that many pros take years to acquire! Just take a breath and then read her credits to date: She has performed in the London West End production of 'Les Miserables', at the Globe Theatre in Shakespeare's 'The Merry Wives of Windsor', as one of the lead roles (Jemima) in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and has just landed a role alongside Rowen Atkinson in the new Andrew Lloyd Webber production of Oliver - wow, we're dazzled too! Shannon's mum Emma brought her to us to record because they had already been to another studio and were not impressed with the results or the way they were treated. They wanted a more personal approach and were impressed enough by our web site to make enquiries about recording at Middle C. Feeling immediately at home in the surroundings of the studio they commented at how relaxing the recording environment felt and so we set about working with Shannon on her first track - a classic musical theatre oldie from My Fair Lady - 'I Could Have Danced All Night', followed by 'Part of Your World' from the Little Mermaid. For her final selection, Shannon chose a track from one of the most popular of the recent musicals - Wicked. Our chosen song for Shannon's page is 'Popular'. By the time you read this, she will be at the start of an 8-week rehearsal schedule for Oliver. We promised to get along to see her in the show and wish her all the very best for the future.
