There's a rather nice little story behind this recording - Ryan had decided that he would like to record an Oasis track because the band was at the top of his list for a long time. So which toon? Well, the perfect excuse for self indulgence came when he made the decision to have the song played at his wedding in Mexico. So, by the time you read this, Ryan and his new bride will have walked back down the aisle to the sound of Ryan singing 'Songbird'! The session lasted about three hours and Ryan was very nervous to start with but once he heard how his playbacks were improving throughout the morning, he found his stride and we bagged this take in the last half hour.
