What a cracking day we had when Peter and his wife Sue came to join us one Saturday morning. As soon as Peter saw some of the guitars in the studio we were chatting away for ages about his rather fine collection of axes - a Taylor acoustic and a Patrick Eggle solid-bodied electric among them. In fact, if Peter hadn't already prepare so well for his songs, our 'talking shop' would certainly have warmed his vocals up anyway! In addition to the song here, Peter recorded fine renditions of 'Here Comes The Sun', and the Fleetwood Mac early classic 'Man Of The World', but as the first choice we have selected his take on Paul Weller's great soulful ballad 'You Do Something To Me'. Peter has already emailed his intention to return to the studio - next time armed with a guitar or two. We look forward to that very much Peter!
