Although it took a long time to organise the date for Lisa's session, both we and Lisa felt it was more than worth the wait. She confessed to being nervous as soon as she arrived but she immediately gave out a genuine enthusiasm for her recording and was a delight to work with throughout. We loved Lisa's song choices because they were refreshingly different and as well as a classical piece and a favourite from Les Mis, she chose to record this little chestnut from the musical South Pacific. As we played back Lisa's songs in the control room, her family were genuinely moved and thrilled by what she had achieved. And, after going back to university to continue her drama course, she has promised to return to the studio for some more recording - which we look forward to very much.
