Kirsty pulled some great songs out of the bag on her recording day, from the tongue-in-cheek bittersweet humour of Kate Nash's 'Foundations' to Natalie Imbruglia's 'Torn', but the stand-out track for us was her version of Coldplay's 'Yellow'. The term 'to make the song your own' has become a little clichéd these days because we seem to hear it every week on the X-Factor, but there's no getting away from the fact that it applies very much to the way Kirsty recorded the song - just listen and judge for yourself.
