Jodie had booked a session here at Middle C to record her version of the Shania Twain song 'From This Moment On' and once again, it never ceases to amaze us at the consistently high standard of singers who come to the studio. Apart from being quite a difficult song to sing, Jodie also managed to stamp her own style on the recording. After she had gone through a warm-up she only needed three takes to produce a fine performance which we mixed and then chatted about some of the technical aspects of the mastering stage. Jodie has already performed live to an audience at The London Palladium and in fact her real enthusiasm for music seems to stem from musical theatre. So Jodie hopes to return to Middle C in the future to record a collection of show songs - something which we look forward to immensely.
