Geoff's wife Debbie bought him his recording experience because, as a 'Karaoke King' on holiday and with his mate Dave (also a previous guest to the studio!), he loves to get up and entertain behind the mic. Geoff chose this Elvis classic as his first venture into recording and as soon as he started singing his first take, we were amazed, given that Geoff only got up to sing for the first time 5 years ago! We thought this song was perfect for him because it showcases his rich tones and, with its subtle and sparse arrangement, proves that sometimes the simplest songs are still the best. Geoff was over the moon with the result of his session, and before leaving, he was already asking us what tracks he should be doing for his next visit. So possibly some Michael Buble, a bit of rat pack, and whatever else he fancies. Ready when you are Geoff!
