On the day itself, the experience starts with an introduction and friendly chat to explain the studio recording process.  This will whet your appetite for your recording and help to calm any nerves and put you at your ease so that you can relax and really enjoy the fun - which is what making music is all about!
 

You'll be shown our huge selection of guitars, keyboards, amplifiers, microphones, and our computer-based recording and mixing system. It's a bit like Aladdin's cave!
 

When the recording stage starts you'll hear the backing arrangement, try a few warm-ups and then we'll start laying down the vocal track. You will experience the unforgettable feeling of hearing your own voice in the headphone mix backed by a full orchestra, a driving rock band, big band, modern pop, dance groove - whatever you have chosen.
 

We'll record several 'takes' of your golden tones and you'll hear the playbacks on our massive studio monitoring speakers. As soon as we've said "It's a Wrap" you can relax - your singing will be 'in the can'.
 

You'll then get to do it all over again as we start work on your second and, if you've chosen, third songs!
 

Throughout your entire session, we'll give you the benefit of our expertise as we help you with vocal coaching and production guidance to help you achieve the most professional result possible.  We'll teach you the basics of microphone technique and show you how different approaches can change the outcome!
 

We'll then start the mixing and mastering stage to give your performance that all-important commercial sound!  You'll hear what special effects can be added to enhance your voice and give it that final icing on the cake.
 

You'll be joining us throughout your session at the mixing desk learning how studio tools and tricks are applied to the singing parts and help to shape the end result - the differences are amazing! You'll become a co-producer and make sure you put your own stamp on your hard work!
 

At the end of your session you will be presented with the stunning Middle C Productions framed platinum disc souvenir.  This really is a first class item and is unique to the 5-Star Experience.  The disc is personalised with a unique plaque displaying your name and the date of your recording session and is presented in a highly-polished chrome and glass frame.  Hang it on your wall and display it with pride so you'll be the envy of your friends and family!
 

Finally, the finished product! - once the CDs have been mastered, you'll get to take home six copies of your masterpiece with top-quality personalised covers featuring your name and photo.  Give yourself a pat on the back - what an achievement!
